My boyfriend and I have stayed with Sol 2 Soul a few times now and our trips have always been amazing.  Launa and Stu make us feel right at home and are so helpful with any questions we have had about the island.  The view is amazing, bright blue ocean can be seen from the casitas and from the pool!  I can't recommend staying here enough!  Walking distance to bars and restuarants or a short golf cart ride (about 10 minutes) to downtown where there is endless shopping and more bars and restuarants to choose from.  Beautiful island, beautiful accomodation, we will be back :)

Great location (mid island) walking distance to many restuarants and bars. It's a private place since there are only 2 rental units on the property with a beautiful pool. We were there 4 years ago and returned this past February and loved it even more. Cooked and enjoyed a leisure Sunday with Launa and Stu, great way to spend an afternoon. I am tech challenge and haven't been able to figure out how to leave a review on Google, so I thought I would just leave a few words of Love I have for this place.

We loved our stay here! The mid island location is perfect for us.  There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance and you are only a quick golf cart or taxi drive away from the beach and other attractions.  The property is amazing and had all the accomodations we needed.  We enjoyed many sunrises and sunsets from the top terrace.  The kitchenette has everything you need.  You will have a beautiful ocean view while you lounge at the pool.  The neighbors are very friendly and make you feel welcome.  Upon arrival the property manager met us there to show us around when we, which was nice.  We will definately return as we've fallen in love with Isla Mujeres!

Our home away from home!  This rental is absolutely perfect for us.  We have stayed here many times and can't wait for our next visit.  The units have everything that you need with a beautiful view.  Having the pool right outside the doorstep is so convenient and the rooftop offers one of our favorite views of the island.  The new murals are beautiful and add such a nice touch!  Love, love, love the location as well, so close to wonderful small restaurants and convenience stores.  Some of our favorite nights are walking around the neighborhood and taking in all the sights and sounds of Isla.  The owners Stu and Launa are a breeze to work with and provide an easy booking experience,  The property manager Stacy is always available to answer any questions that we have as well.  Our favorite place to stay on isla.

This was our third stay at Sol 2 Soul and it truly felt like coming home.  The casitas are spotless and the new mattresses make these beds the most comfortable vacation sleep ever...and I am VERY particular about my bed!  The view from the sliding glass doors, the pool, and the roof top are more spectacular that the photos suggest.  You can do lots of walking around the village of La Gloria..or walk down the hill just one block and catch a taxi most anywhere on this wee island for just 50 pesos.  There are several restaurants in the village or you can taxi into Centro for more action.  Communication with Launa and Stu is always smooth and easy.  Great value.

My partner and I spent a week at Sol 2 Soul Casitas in September 2017.  This was our second time on the island and this little casita was perfect for our stay.  It's in the La Gloria neighborhood so we felt more like locals than tourists.

The casita has a private pool right outside your door with a view of the Caribbean Sea.  We swam every morning before heading out to enjoy the island.  It has a small kitchenette that had everything we needed to prepare any meals, usually breakfast.  Clean drinking water is also provided.  There's an outdoor bar area with a BBQ grill and a rooftop deck to take in a 360 degree view of the island and the hotel zone of Cancun.

Our contact, Stacy Fernandez was super helpful in dealing with any issues that came up and also helping us, on our last day, return our golf cart and arranged for a taxi to the ferry.

In all, this casita is a perfect getaway with breathtaking views.  We will definintely rent it again.

We stayed in the lower unit. Floated in the pool and looked at the ocean. Totally different vibe from Playa Norte. Clean and quiet with everything we needed. Located in a "real neighborhood" it was easy to walk to the store and inexpensive good restaurants. Launa and Stu were wonderful hosts. They respected our privacy, but we enjoyed hanging out by the pool with them. They even gave us happy hour snacks. They were a store house of info. Which helped. We will definitely go back. This Casita is the real deal.

I have stayed at sol2sol multiple times, most recently with my girlfriend and a few friends, we were able to rent both casitas which come fully equipped to make the guests feel at home. The casitas have stunning views and are walking distance to the beach. If you don't feel like leaving the suite, there is a pool and rooftop patio to enjoy. We will definitely be back for another stay.

Wow, what a perfect location across the street on the Caribbean and steps away from center island. This was our 15th visit to Isla Mujeres and loved this casita with it's pool, outdoor bar and bbq. It doesn't happen that often when you view a property you see All excellent reveiws and owners comments/answers on every stay. This place is a little gem in paradise and the owners are truly a pleasure to deal with. I can't say enough regarding the views, sunsets, rooftop and convenient access to everything. Only 30pesos to busy centro and playa Norte by taxi and only blocks from the best resturants on the island. if you walk one block south you can hang with the locals and witness island life with all it has to offer. Take a walk along the ocean and catch a sunrise or hang by the pool with a cold cervesa and watch the birds above. Simply an epic Isla Mujeres vibe!! Thanks you guys!!

Sol 2 Soul was the perfect rental for our first trip to Isla! As it is located in La Gloria we truly felt like we were living as a local..quiet streets, lots of families, and still plenty of restaurants and groceries stores within walking distance. We walked the whole island, (as we did not rent a golf cart) but if you are not into all that exercise you can hail a taxi within 1 or 2 minutes. The condo is spotless, and Stacy, the property manager made sure that we were well supplied. The view from the condo is spectacular..from the bed (very comfortable with foam-top) you can see the pool and the ocean! We did not have to use the AC..there was always a wonderful ocean breeze blowing to cool at night. Stu and Launa are gracious hosts and we are already looking forward to a return visit next year.

...the casita is too small for a month stay, but it's not. I'd like to say it wasn't nicely kept and clean, but it is. I'd like to say it's noisy, but it's quiet (other than the breaking surf to fall to sleep and wake up to). I'd like to say Luana and Stu are unacommadating but in fact they are wonderful hosts. I'd like to say all those things so I could be ensured we'd always have a booking each winter! But i can't...so call early if you want to enjoy a perfect spot away from the madding crowd, yet close enough for amenities and services. 360 view included!

This was our first visit to Isla and it won't be our last. Luana and Stu were fantastic hosts and pointed us in all the right directions. Very friendly and accomodating. The Casita was very clean and comfortable. And after a day of exploring you came back to a swim and a beverage on either the pool side patio or the rooftop to enjoy the sunset. We loved staying in this delightful casitas in the Gloria area. The room is comfortable and contains all the amenities necessary for light cooking. We cooled down in the pool and enjoyed relaxing on the rooftop. Touring the island on a golfcart is great fun and basking in the sun at Playa Norte is relaxing. We loved walking around La Gloria at night, eating in local restaurants and enjoying some soccer at the local stadium. Our hosts were very attentive and gave great suggestions and went out of their way to be helpful! A wonderful time!

Sol 2 Soul Casitas offers the perfect oasis for your vacation. We rented the upper unit and were not disappointed. To wake up each day to a splendid view of the ocean was more than enough - but then, there was the sea breeze (windy at times, but this is no fault of the owners), the incredible view of the sunset from the roof top and afterglow over the ocean, the ease of getting to and from the beach (north and south beaches) from the Casitas - in fact, the Casitas is nicely situated away from the bustle of the downtown area and as such, provides quiet, privacy, and an opportunity for true relaxation. You're in no way isolated: there's a supermarket within walking distance as well as laundry services and a walking path for those who don't mind exploring on foot. While everything about the Casitas is perfect, it is Launa and Stu who truly made the experience excellent. They're both extremely friendly, welcoming, and embody hospitality. We've stayed in a few VRBO's and this was, by far, the most welcoming experience we've had. Traveling during the cold/flu season, we both got sick and our hosts made certain that we had what we needed to be comfortable. We love Isla Mujeres and very much look forward to staying at Sol 2 Soul Casitas again!

I've visited Isla Mujeres numerous times and this was first staying in La Gloria. I was a little hesitant about being away from all the action downtown, but with a golf cart it's a short ride away from everything and it was SO worth it. We stayed in the unit downstairs, it's small but has everything you need including a tremendous view of the Caribbean even while seated on the lavatory :-) The pool was perfect, it has a spot of sun and shade all day long. I can't tell you how amazing it was to have a view of the ocean from the comfort of my own sand free pool. there are also quite a few places that are walking distance from the house including a supermarket. The roof is a perfect spot for watching the sunset. There was no one staying in the upstairs unit so it was super luxurious, but it would be ideal to have another couple or some kids share the space with you. I would highly recommend this spot. BUT, if you're really picky about pillows I would bring my own.

We were 4 people, so we rented both apartments of Sol 2 Soul. There's no more to say than that we had a perfect stay at casa Sol 2 Soul. Loved the apartments, loved the pool area, loved the view, loved the new seaside walk in front of the apartment. It is highly recommendable to have a golf car for little tours around the island - just fun. Stu and Launa, hope to see you soon :-)! All the best from Germany

Great value - very clean, comfortable accommodations, nothing fancy but perfect if you'll be spending your day exploring the island or at the beach. Nice and bright, with mostly unobstructed ocean view. Small kitchen area, but well equipped, nice barbecue area outside by pool, although we didn't actually have time to use it. Nice landscaping and pool is very great to come back to after a long day in the ocean. Very easy to catch a cab, never had to wait for more than a minute or 2.

We have been traveling to Isla Mujeres for many years and have stayed just about everywhere on the Island. We found Sol 2 Soul and decided to give it a try, and I must say we were very delighted with the property and our room! We stayed in the ground unit. It was all freshly painted, new linens nice size fridge, dishes, hot plate, coffee maker and toaster oven etc. It is within walking distance to grocery stores and a lot of nice little restaurants. The property also has a communal outdoor bar/kitchen area with a grill and a sink. My wife is a culinary graduate and loves to cook and she got her chance! We decided to have a dinner party for everyone, the property owners had gotten us and the guests in the upper unit fresh tuna to grill (and for sashimi) and my wife grilled up some fresh veggies and made a pot of rice, dinning alfresco at it's finest! We are definitely going to come back here again! The property owners are very personable and generous people! They make you feel very comfortable and welcome. We highly recommend Sol 2 Soul.........I think I just shot myself in the foot!!!! Lol. Lots a love to Sol 2 Soul :)

We stayed at Sol to Soul for 10 days in February 2014. Launa and Stu, the owners live in a house right next door, so they are available for fun chatting or helpful advice. They are truly generous people, both with drinks and in their sweet spirits! The Casita itself is just perfect, lovely views, clean, nice bathroom, comfy bed, great sheets! We loved being in a neighborhood instead of in the midst of tourism. It was quiet at night and in the mornings. I highly recommend renting a golf cart for ease in getting around the island. We had one the whole time and were glad. I would definitely rent this Casita again. Make sure to visit the bottle island. Whoa!

We traveled with another couple to Isla Mujeres last week, and each couple had one of the studio units at Sol 2 Sol. We had a great stay - accommodations were comfortable and the neighborhood was fun to explore. We rented a golf cart to get around - highly recommended! We also did a lot of walking. We loved Isla and will return sometime for sure! Connie met us when we arrived and was very helpful and friendly while we were there. Launa was wonderful to work with and responded promptly to email questions. Thanks, ladies!

Arriving on Christmas day, Sol 2 Soul Casitas was a great little Christmas present waiting for us on the island. The Casita was the perfect size for the two of us and offered all of the basic amenities required to enjoy a great vacation. The A/C worked awesome and we really appreciated a great hot shower at the end of the day. We found the bed very comfortable and carrying the small table onto the pool deck in the morning was a great way to enjoy a relaxing breakfast in the morning sun. We had rented a golf cart for the first few days and were pleased that we were able to park it inside the gated property. For the rest of our stay we used the island taxi service and had absolutely no problem catching one either just outside the property or just down the hill in front of the pharmacy. We enjoyed the roof top patio as we watched the first sunrise of 2014 rise out of the Sea. It was also a great place to relax as we watched many sunsets against the Cancun skyline.
